Plastic and Penang..

It's occur to me that in Penang is a historical state where it is being classified as a Historical site by UNESCO. All is good in Penang from food to the places to visits, but today topic is not about the beauty of the state but about the use of plastic bags in the state.

In Malaysia there are no plastic day campaign that happens every Saturday, where there is no use of plastic bags for the whole day. That is a good cause where we can lower down the usage of plastic bags, but in Penang the state government implement everyday is no plastic bag day. I am not saying that i am not supporting the idea of lowering down the usage of plastic bags but for this situation i could not agree with the Penang government idea of lowering the plastic usage. What bother me more is people need to add more money to buy plastic bags every time when there go shopping. This action is not helping to lower down the usage, but the problem remain the same and the company that is operating the business is gaining more money because now there get money for selling plastic bag that is biodegradable,where in other state is free.

Even the plastic bags consist of 20 cent but just imagine the population of the Penang state buy the plastic bags every time there go shopping isn't that making the public burden with the increase cost and for the shop they just keep on increasing the price even when the public is suffering of the increase price.

The shops that is operating in Penang should come out with the idea on how to help the public lessen their burden on their spending power. I also wonder that is the Penang government think about this before there implement the rule. If to compare with other country they use paper bag instate of plastic bags and if that is hard to do it is wise for the shops owners to use biodegradable plastic bags for free for their customers such as some hypermarket that is using it.

Time management

What is time management? according to Wikipedia "Time management is the act or process of exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase efficiency or productivity. Time management may be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals. This set encompasses a wide scope of activities, and these include planning, allocating,setting goals, delegation, analysis of time spent, monitoring, organizing, scheduling, and prioritizing. Initially, time management referred to just business or work activities, but eventually the term broadened to include personal activities as well. A time management system is a designed combination of processes, tools, techniques, and methods. Usually time management is a necessity in any project development as it determines the project completion time and scope."

In Malaysia there are things that we can change that is try to manage our time efficiently. In today's world our time is being said it is not enough but actually everybody have the same 24 hours, but how some of us can become rich and can do so many things in a day? This is because it is called time management. Not to say that i am good at time management but i tried to make the full use of it.

Actually time did not only comprise individually but also in an organization, where time is so essential to gain profit. what worries me is time taken during doing business in a banks. To put our money in some banks will take us forever. this should not be the case because as a customers the teller should be very responsive to the customers that is in a hurry. Not all the people in the line do not work during the day, what bothers me is the way the teller do their work,their need to be more efficient. If teachers do mistake, all teachers will get the blame for not doing their job well, this is not right. To be fair all of us need to look in to ourself and see the problems within, not be a nosey taking care other people business, well Malaysian need to change that even though it is in ourself from the early age.

With time management we can make people life much better and much efficient in doing our job. In every job time is essential it can be from the garbage collector to the doctor, time is important. Not to say that all Malaysian is like this, this is only consist of some but it give a negative impact as a whole community. We need to educated ourself and others especially the kids that time is essential and take example of how the Japanese manage their time.
